Angel Jacket is a self-initiated research fashion project exploring powerful silhouettes. By creating a garment that is not following a given human body but rather creating its own silhouette that partly follows body curvature and partly creating a different strong feature form.
Different body parts can be emphasized and exaggerated by the garment to express the power of fashion form and express a meaning that is beyond just a human body meaning. The shoulders and arms are exaggerated to express the powerful character and meaning of a woman. And at the same time the waist part and inner shoulders have feminine silhouette following body curvature.
It is a combination of feminine and masculine characteristics that are present in one garment and express their interrelation and contrast.
