Armour ring is a self-initiated jewellery project that has an idea of armour protecting fragility of a human body. The ring is quite big in size to cover a big part of hand. The armour ring is inspired by ancient warriors’ armour. Its smooth and strong shell emphasises our fragility and shows the contrast between the protecting armour and the delicateness of skin by covering part of fingers and hand.

This project is a collaboration with a fashion designer Jonathan Rayson Coleman from Royal College of Arts, London. The collaboration involved designing a fashion helmet and garment accessories using 3D printing technology and parametric design approach.
This project is still in experimentation stage and an ongoing research that started years ago after Leon collaborated with fashion designers on many experimental head pieces.
